Collection of over 120 mixed media studies on 10 x 8” paper. The series is an exercise in treating the studio as a laboratory, engaging in research and development into color, composition, and mark-making in mixed media, as well as a way to break some bad habits around perfectionism.
The only rules were that the paper had to be 10 x 8” and every single one had to go on the wall. No editing, no excuses. Even if it was absolute garbage, up it went, forcing me to be less precious and less controlling in my creative process. 10/10, would recommend.
